Job Description:
In this position as a Passenger Car Cleaner you will have the responsibility of cleaning all interior and exterior surfaces of VIA Rail’s passenger railway cars. Your responsibility is important in providing positive experience of travel environment to the passengers on the VIA Rail network. This is a non-exempt schedule, flexible shift: night shift, They offer competitive hourly wage rates; with shift differentials for evening, and night-shift hours.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Clean the interior and exterior of passenger railway cars.
Vacuum and wash carpets, ensuring they are free of dirt and debris.
Wipe down tables, chairs, and other surfaces within the cars.
Adjust the direction of passenger seats as needed.
Clean and disinfect washrooms to maintain hygiene standards.
Wash windows (both interior and exterior) to provide clear visibility.
Refill reservoirs with potable drinking water.
Perform outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physically capable of handling manual labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
